About Me

Thank you for taking the time to visit my digital teaching portfolio and to learn who I am as an educator.

I graduated in 2016 from Michigan State University with my Bachelor of the Arts degree in Elementary Education with a teaching major in Social Studies and a teaching minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I am anticipating completing my Master of the Arts in Education Technology (MAET) degree in the fall of 2021.

I have taught 3rd and 5th grades all subjects at CA Frost Environmental Science Academy in Grand Rapids Public Schools in Grand Rapids, Michigan for five years. 

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time in northern Michigan at my cabin, baking, hiking, and traveling.
